What is the right career for me?

Do you hate getting up for work in the mornings?

Does Sunday evening fill you with dread?

Do you know that you want to do something else but unsure as to what?

Would you like help to develop several career alternatives that will reflect your skills and values and then discover how to develop a strategy for exploring these career options?

I am committed to inspiring you and supporting you to find a career which is creative, meaningful and enjoyable. Yes, changing career can be a risky business and yes, you may increase the chance of falling flat on your face and this is where creating a creative career strategy needs to be tackled at the same time as increasing your confidence levels and this is where I can help.

Over a series of sessions we will:

  • review how to manage your career and set some goals;
  • find out what is blocking you  from having or knowing what the right career for you is and then remove these blocks;
  • find out what really motivates you;
  • identify your hidden skills and the things that interest you;
  • discover your potential; and
  • uncover what is the right career for you  or see if you really do need to change career (if required, you can take the MAPP career test).

I can guarantee that by following this programme you will uncover skills and interests you forgot you had!

If you are interested in finding out more about your personality type we can also look at the Holland Codes career model which refers to a theory of careers and vocational choice based on personality types. Holland wrote that the choice of a vocation is an expression of personality and by using this model we can shed a light on a range of careers that may suit your personality which means that you are more likely to enjoy and be succeessful in one of these careers.

A complete career change will also mean a complete re-write of your C.V. and I can assist you with this, if required, along with identifying job search strategies and tips on how to survive interviews.

The key is to really think things through and then come up with a plan of action.  If you want to put off career change forever, then keep on reflecting, analyzing and thinking about it.

On the other hand, if you really want to make a change then you have to take action so start by contacting me today to find out more about how I can help.
